A Darkening in the North
The Sundial Tavern is a beautiful old stone building in the heart of Adamki, named for the ornate stone and steel sundial in the atrium at its center. The Sundial’s proprietor, Leofric, was an adventuring cleric of Pelor, who retired to Adamki and used his accumulated wealth to build a shrine to his two great loves, Pelor and wine. In the mornings, the children of Adamki whose families are too poor to hire tutors, gather around the sundial in the atrium for lessons, and volunteers from the community teach them history, reading and writing, and about their patron, Pelor. In the evenings, the Sundial is a place to hear music by travelling bards and taste wines brought by merchants from faraway places.
